The Old Lyme Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Portland Highlanders to 38 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hale Ray for a Shoreline contest on Friday, February 2. Old Lyme will battle a Noises team coming off a 62-32 league loss to North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Noises record now stands at 4-10.

The Highlanders (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Blue Devils come into the Shoreline contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Coginchaug Regional was nudged by East Hampton (East Hampton, CT), 53-29, in a league contest.
