Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS), 63-4 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Simpson Academy upgrades its record to 20-11 on the campaign. The Cougars host Leake Academy (Madden, MS) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 26-4. Leake Academy won 46-41 in their recent league bout against East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS)
