Mississippi High School Basketball - Simpson Academy trounces Park Place Christian Academy

The Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS), 60-13 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Lamar (Meridian, MS). The Raiders go into the MAIS 5A District 2 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Lamar was trounced by Leake Academy (Madden, MS), 75-36, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 test on Friday, December 15. Park Place Christian Academy will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 70-23 league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-9.
