The Plainfield Central Wildcats basketball team (Plainfield, IL), dropped 52-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL)
The Spartans now possess a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie - East battle on Thursday, February 1. Romeoville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-65 league loss to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-11.
The Wildcats (2-19) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 25-3 record. In their last battle, Downers Grove North beat Lyons (LaGrange, IL), 48-40, in a league battle.
