The Romeoville Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats to 40 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stagg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Romeoville will meet a Chargers team coming off a 52-35 non-league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 3-3.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the SouthWest Prairie - East contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Joliet Central was routed by Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 85-60, in a league contest.
