With the win, Port Arthur Memorial upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Titans travel to Nederland (Nederland, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-27.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, February 2. Port Neches-Groves will attempt to upgrade on its 12-23 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 25-7 record after their 72-29 league win over Sterling (Baytown, TX).
