Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 50-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gate City upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Ridgeview won 36-28 in their recent non-league bout against John Battle (Bristol, VA)

Next up, the Generals play the John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 36-28 non-league loss to Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA).
