The Northwest Guilford Vikings basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Grimsley Whirlies to 58 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Guilford for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Northwest Guilford will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 61-33 non-league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 16-3.
The Whirlies (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Ragsdale was defeated by Page (Greensboro, NC), 70-22, in a non-league contest.
