North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory can't hold off North Lincoln

The North Lincoln Knights basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Hickory Red Tornadoes to 44 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Iredell for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. North Lincoln will battle a Raiders team coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 10-6.

The Red Tornadoes (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, St. Stephens nudged North Iredell (Olin, NC), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
