Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), 64-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Bladensburg won 65-53 in their recent league bout against High Point (Beltsville, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD) in a bout, on Thursday, February 1. High Point will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
