The Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) basketball crushed the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 60-36 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Pinecrest was trounced by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 52-50, in a league test.
The Fighting Scots now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Union Pines for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Scotland will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 63-22 non-league loss to Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-4.
