North Carolina High School Basketball - Scotland can't hold off Southern Lee

The Southern Lee Cavaliers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots to 42 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montgomery Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Southern Lee will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 37-22 non-league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-4.
The Fighting Scots (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Marlboro County edged Marion (Marion, SC), 39-19, in a non-league contest.
