New Mexico High School Basketball - Melrose crushes Floyd

The Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) basketball crushed the host Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM), 76-26 in Thursday's league bout.

The Buffaloes now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Grady for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Melrose will play a Bronchos team coming off a 67-22 league loss to Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Floyd falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Dora (Dora, NM) to play the Coyotes in a A District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 6-12.
