Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM), 72-35 in a league match.

With the victory, Melrose advances its record to 21-5 on the year.

The Broncos now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dora for a A District 4 match on Thursday, February 20. Floyd will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-14.
