The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) and the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), observed El Paso-Gridley's basketball team overcome Fieldcrest by a score of 68-52.

The Titans (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-21 record. In their last challenge, Olympia dropped by PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL), 46-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Fieldcrest will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 21-5 record after their 47-37 league win over Seneca (Seneca, IL).
