In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Horizon Christian Hawks basketball team scored a close 40-35 triumph over the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars.
The Hawks (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR). The Eagles go into the 3A Lewis & Clark contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Westside Christian nipped Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR), 46-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Westside Christian Eagles (Lake Oswego, OR) in a 3A Lewis & Clark contest, on Saturday, February 1. Portland Adventist Academy will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 58-33 league loss to Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR).
