The Hozho Academy Wolves got by the visiting Ramah Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 36-30 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Wolves clash with the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) in a 2A District 1 outing, on Saturday, February 1. Hozho Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 13-6 record after their 69-34 league win over Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM).
The Mustangs (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Hawks come into the 2A District 1 outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Dulce held off Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM), 36-33, in a league outing.
