The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Johnson Eagles (Thomaston, AL) and the host Sweet Water Bulldogs (Sweet Water, AL), observed Johnson's basketball team overwhelm Sweet Water by a score of 32-10.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Keith (Orrville, AL). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Keith was routed by Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL), 60-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Marengo Panthers (Dixons Mills, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Sweet Water will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 50-32 league win over Shields (Beatrice, AL).
