The Johnson Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Sweet Water Bulldogs to 8 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marengo for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Johnson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 40-37 non-league win over Linden (Linden, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Sweet Water falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Blacksher (Uriah, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 4-5. Blacksher won 49-9 in their recent non-league game against Excel (Excel, AL)
