In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 38-25 triumph over the Patagonia Lobos.

The Blue Devils (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league contest with a 21-5 record. In their last contest, Tombstone topped Morenci (Morenci, AZ), 56-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lobos battle the San Manuel Miners (San Manuel, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Patagonia will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Miners go into the contest with a 3-13 record after their 48-22 non-league loss to San Simon (San Simon, AZ).
