The Apple Valley Eagles basketball team (Apple Valley, MN), was overwhelmed 74-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN)
The Sabers now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastview for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Shakopee will confront a Lightning team coming off a 76-75 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 11-3.
The Eagles (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish come into the AAAA Section 3 battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Rosemount was overwhelmed by Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN), 71-55, in a non-league battle.
