Ohio High School Basketball - Austintown-Fitch thwarts Boardman

January 31, 2023: Youngstown, OH 44512

The Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) basketball knocked off the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), 57-47 in Tuesday's league test.

The Falcons (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Harding (Warren, OH). The Raiders go into the All-American test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Harding went down by Howland (Warren, OH), 42-41, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Canfield for a All-American test on Friday, February 3. Boardman will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 50-42 league win over Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-3.
