Ohio High School Basketball - Austintown-Fitch edges Boardman

January 6, 2023: Youngstown, OH 44515

The Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), 50-47 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Harding (Warren, OH). The Raiders go into the All-American test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Harding got by Howland (Warren, OH), 56-51, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Canfield for a All-American test on Tuesday, January 10. Boardman will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Louisville (Louisville, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.
