The Brownsville Falcons (Brownsville, PA) basketball nipped the host Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 50-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Falcons (10-7) will now prepare for their test against McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Highlanders go into the WPIAL 3A 4 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, McGuffey got by Charleroi (Charleroi, PA), 54-43, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Yough for a WPIAL 3A 4 test on Friday, February 3. Mt. Pleasant will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 45-41 league win over Washington (Washington, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-7.
