Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the host Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA), saw Saugus's basketball squad wallop Castaic by a count of 63-23.

With the victory, Saugus upgrades its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA) to play the Cowboys in a Foothill challenge on Friday, February 3. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 14-13. Canyon won 44-43 in their recent league challenge against Hart (Newhall, CA)

Next up, the Coyotes play the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill challenge, on Friday, February 3. Castaic will attempt to upgrade on its 10-18 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 26-1 record after their 80-40 league win over Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA).
