California High School Basketball - Castaic trounced by Saugus

The Saugus Centurions routed the host Castaic Coyotes basketball team by a final score of 70-37 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Centurions face the Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA) in a Foothill game, on Tuesday, January 10. Saugus will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Cowboys enter the game with a 11-9 record after their 40-28 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).

With the defeat, Castaic moves to 10-12 on the year. The Coyotes host West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to face the Wildcats in a Foothill game on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 18-1. West Ranch won 52-45 in their recent non-league game against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA)
