The Searsport Vikings (Searsport, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), 49-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Vikings (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Tigers go into the C North test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Sumner got by Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 60-50, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to George Stevens Academy for a C North test on Friday, February 3. Central will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-31 league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
