In Tuesday's league outing, the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) basketball squad felled the visiting Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM), by a margin of 71-51.
The Tigers (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Bears go into the 3A District 3 outing with a 5-12 record. In their last outing, Hatch Valley was beaten by Socorro (Socorro, NM), 65-24, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Socorro for a 3A District 3 outing on Thursday, February 2. Cobre will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 65-24 league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 6-15.
