Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM), 50-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Socorro (Socorro, NM) to clash with the Warriors in a 3A District 3 bout on Saturday, February 25. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-15. Socorro won 57-50 in their recent league bout against Cobre (Bayard, NM)
