Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR), 57-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Corvallis upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Spartans host Dallas (Dallas, OR) to confront the Dragons in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Friday, February 3. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Dallas lost 75-45 in their recent league challenge against West Albany (Albany, OR)

Next up, the Royal Scots confront the Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Friday, February 3. McKay will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record.
