The Corvallis Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting McKay Royal Scots to 40 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dallas for a 5A Mid-Willamette contest on Tuesday, January 3. Corvallis will battle a Dragons team coming off a 69-33 league loss to West Albany (Albany, OR). The Dragons record now stands at 0-4.

The Royal Scots (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newberg (Newberg, OR). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Newberg was defeated by North Salem (Salem, OR), 59-46, in a non-league contest.
