The Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) basketball crushed the host Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX), 60-21 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (29-3) will now prepare for their test against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region II District 16 test with a 14-16 record. In their last test, Kingwood Park walloped Porter (Porter, TX), 36-33, in a league test.
The Broncos now own a 9-21 record. They play next when they travel to Huntsville for a 5A Region II District 16 test on Friday, February 3. Dayton will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 73-31 league loss to Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 4-16.
