Illinois High School Basketball - Elk Grove knocked off by Prospect

The Prospect Knights basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Elk Grove Grenadiers to 58 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East contest on Friday, February 3. Prospect will battle a Bison team coming off a 81-36 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Bison record now stands at 10-15.
The Grenadiers (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the Mid-Suburban - East contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Hersey ran past Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 63-35, in a league contest.
