The Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 69-36 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants go into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Highland Park was trounced by Deerfield (Deerfield, IL), 51-34, in a league test.
The Grenadiers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rolling Meadows for a Mid-Suburban - East test on Thursday, December 22. Elk Grove will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 53-32 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-1.
