Georgia High School Basketball - Etowah can't hold off River Ridge

The Etowah Eagles basketball team (Woodstock, GA), was nudged 63-60 in Tuesday's league battle with the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA)
The Knights now possess a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodstock for a AAAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, February 3. River Ridge will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 66-55 league loss to Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-19.
The Eagles (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs come into the AAAAAA Region 6 battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah was nudged by Rome (Rome, GA), 91-54, in a league battle.
