The Red River Roughriders basketball team (Grand Forks, ND), was nudged 90-84 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND)
The Spartans now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Devils Lake/North Dakota School for the Deaf for a A East battle on Friday, February 3. Fargo North will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 82-68 league loss to Shanley (Fargo, ND). The Firebirds record now stands at 8-5.
The Roughriders (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Knights come into the A East battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Grand Forks Central edged Fargo South (Fargo, ND), 67-62, in a league battle.
