The Gordon Central Warriors basketball team (Calhoun, GA), was overwhelmed 116-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA)
The Mountaineers now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockmart for a AA Region 7 battle on Friday, February 3. North Murray will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 78-53 league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-9.
The Warriors (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Model (Rome, GA). The Blue Devils come into the AA Region 7 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Model was overwhelmed by North Murray (Chatsworth, GA), 66-55, in a league battle.
