In Saturday's league match, the visiting North Murray Mountaineers basketball team scored a decisive 77-55 triumph over the Gordon Central Warriors.
In their next game, the Mountaineers meet the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) in a AA Region 7 match, on Tuesday, February 7. North Murray will attempt to better on its 20-2 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 10-11 record after their 74-48 league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA).
With the defeat, Gordon Central moves to 10-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 3-19. Copper Basin won 70-41 in their recent league match against Lookout Valley (Chattanooga, TN)
