New Mexico High School Basketball - Jal crushes Tatum

January 31, 2023: Jal, NM 88252

Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM), 69-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Jal upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM) to clash with the Bobcats in a 2A District 4 bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-14. Hagerman lost 68-38 in their recent league bout against Eunice (Eunice, NM)

Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Elida Tigers (Elida, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Tatum will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 70-41 league loss to Dora (Dora, NM).
