New Mexico High School Basketball - Jal thwarts Tatum

The Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) basketball knocked off the host Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM), 51-41 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Eunice (Eunice, NM). The Cardinals go into the 2A District 4 test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Eunice went down by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 57-46, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Gateway Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14.
