The Massabesic Mustangs basketball team (Waterboro, ME), was overwhelmed 68-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME)
The Trojans now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edward Little for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Thornton Academy will confront a Red Eddies team coming off a 56-33 league loss to Portland (Portland, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 3-12.
The Mustangs (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Stags come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Cheverus was overwhelmed by Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 59-58, in a league battle.
