The Thornton Academy Trojans basketball team scored 90 points and held the visiting Massabesic Mustangs to 29 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scarborough for a AA South contest on Tuesday, December 13. Thornton Academy will meet a Red Storm team coming off a 60-53 league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Red Storm record now stands at 1-0.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams enter the AA South contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Gorham triumphed over Windham (Windham, ME), 68-58, in a league contest.
