Massachusetts High School Basketball - North Middlesex Regional thwarts Westborough

The North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting Westborough Rangers (Westborough, MA), 67-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA). The Chieftains go into the Midland-Wachusett B test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Nashoba Regional notched a victory over Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA), 84-74, in a non-league test.
The Rangers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Shepherd Hill Regional for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Westborough will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 54-27 non-league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Rams record now stands at 14-1.
