The Westborough Rangers (Westborough, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA), 60-48 in Friday's league test.
The Rangers (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Shepherd Hill Regional notched a victory over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA), 55-35, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Nashoba Regional for a Midland-Wachusett B test on Tuesday, January 10. North Middlesex Regional will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-2.
