Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), 95-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pisgah upgrades its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Bears host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to play the Eagles in a 3A Conference 54 bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-13. East Henderson lost 49-43 in their recent league bout against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a 3A Conference 54 bout, on Friday, February 3. Tuscola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 71-49 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
