North Carolina High School Basketball - Pisgah overwhelms Tuscola

January 6, 2023: Canton, NC 28716

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) and the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), saw Pisgah's basketball squad wallop Tuscola by a tally of 90-55.

With the victory, Pisgah improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bears host Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Robbinsville lost 63-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Cocke County (Newport, TN)

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a 3A Conference 54 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Tuscola will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 57-47 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
