North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity fells Providence Grove

Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 68-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Trinity upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to play the Wildcats in a 1A/2A Conference 31 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 19-2.
Next up, the Patriots play the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 31 bout, on Friday, February 3. Providence Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 64-60 league loss to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC).
