North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity thwarts Providence Grove

The Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 70-61 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the 1A/2A Conference 31 test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Southwestern Randolph notched a victory over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 58-38, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 7-18 record.
