In Tuesday's league outing, the Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) basketball squad edged the host Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA), by a margin of 59-57.
The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Drifters go into the Northern Neck outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, Colonial Beach was tipped by Lancaster (Lancaster, VA), 93-31, in a league outing.
The Raiders now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host King & Queen Central for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. Rappahannock will clash with a Royal Tigers squad coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Royal Tigers record now stands at 2-12.
