The Bovina Mustangs (Bovina, TX) basketball crushed the host Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX), 50-20 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Vega (Vega, TX). The Longhorns go into the 2A Region I District 3 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Vega was trounced by Panhandle (Panhandle, TX), 77-26, in a league test.

The Roughriders now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Farwell for a 2A Region I District 3 test on Friday, February 3. Boys Ranch will encounter a Steers squad coming off a 82-20 league win over Highland Park (Amarillo, TX). The Steers record now stands at 25-5.
